The last time I met Steven was at Elsie Ross's funeral in 2011. We were standing at the grave, Steven , Christopher and I, each caught in our own thoughts. The young people had to experience what it meant to say goodbye to a person, their grandmother, from whom they had only experienced love. I still remember Steven's appearance. Thoughtful and determined. We followed his life through the family. May the farewell to Steven, like the farewell in the Highlands, leave behind not only sadness but also gratitude.
