One of a kind
Created by Ian one month agoI don't have any bad memories of Steve. I just remember him as good company. Easy to talk to. One of a kind.
He achieved a lot but wasn’t one to dwell on his achievements.
He was unapologetically independent. He had an inner strength and a quiet confidence, that I did not, and he followed his own path, unrattled by trends, (unless he was setting them of course).
Whether he was spinning records as a DJ or moving to the beat in his uniquely captivating style on the dance floor, he did it with a passion that was contagious. He was an uplifting soul. He always seemed kind. Never talked others down.
Moving to Australia mean it's a good few years now since we last met in person but it was always easy to reconnect with Steve and comfortable to catch up and soon be laughing about ridiculous things. So sorry to lose him so soon. He is much missed.
